ALCAT Allergy Testing

Food and chemical sensitivities are estimated to affect up to 50 percent of Americans.

Sensitivities, at times more subtle and difficult to spot than true “allergies,” can cause a wide range of very individualized symptoms, from a foggy head to unexplained diarrhea, and can significantly decrease your quality of life.

Many doctors are quick to prescribe medications to help patients with a variety of conditions, but did you know sometimes simple changes in lifestyle, such as dietary changes, can have a similar impact on an individual’s health?

Discover ALCAT Testing

ALCAT Sensitivity/Intolerance Testing can help provide insight into what may be causing an individual’s symptoms and help them learn what foods to avoid to ensure a more positive outcome without the use of medications that typically come with negative side effects.

While there are other methods of testing for food intolerances, this is one of the safest, most effective methods.

The ALCAT Test may help uncover which foods and other substances trigger chronic inflammation and its related health issues such as gastrointestinal, metabolic disorders and others.

The ALCAT Test measures cellular reactions to over 450 substances.

To date, the ALCAT Test has helped over half a million people change their health.

How ALCAT works

A small sample of your blood is sent to the laboratory overnight. Upon receiving the sample, the blood goes through a multi-step quality assurance process.

During testing, your white blood cells are tested against foods and other substances in a process known as flow cytometry and cell impedance methodology.

After testing, the results are presented in a clear and easy to read color-coded format.
